Week commencing 30 March
In the Autumn term of year 1 and 2 we explored the life and work of six key abstract artists - Piet Mondrian, Mark Rothko, Paul Klee, Jackson Pollock, Robert Delaunay and Wassily Kandinsky. We learnt about the primary colours and how to use these to mix secondary colours. Over the next few weeks I will be challenging you to create a piece of abstract art based on one of the six artists we have studied.
