Children's Work and Pictures

Leena and her family had a lovely cycle round Lady Bower. Leena loves to cycle - her confidence has improved enormously. Leena always reads the signs and labels when out having her daily exercise. Lots of great home learning activities during the week - spelling, learning to tell the time, prblem solving with doubling and halving, writing and reading. Your hair looks amazing too. Glad to hear you have all had a great week.
Elsie really enjoyed the 'one minute challenge' sent home in the learning pack. Elise has been busy completing lots of home learning activities. Fabulous work Elsie - well done.
Leena has enjoyed lots of exercise and outdoor time and is now getting really confident on her bike. Leena's family loved the 'One Minute Challenge' sent home in the learning pack. I have heard that Mrs Kerley won this challenge! Well done Mrs Kerley! A super effort from you though Leena and everyone in your family. Fabulous home learning Leena and tremendous effort as always.
Leena was very excited when she lost her first tooth. She wrote a lovely letter to the tooth fairy. 
Chael is busy working his way through the learning tasks sent home. Chael has been learning about money, addition and ordering numbers. He has been working on his spellings and phonic tasks.  Chael also loves to read and enjoys lots of different stories with his family. Well done Chael - fabulous learning. 
Rebecca was really happy when she received her new book and learning pack in the post. Rebecca loved reading her book and couldn't wait to complete all her tasks. Rebecca has been working really hard on her phonics, reading, writing and spelling. Rebecca always draws beautiful pictures. Well done Rebecca - amazing work and super effort as always.
Daros and Olivia have been enjoying some outdoor fun. They have been for lovely walks with their family and enjoyed making dens. Daros and Olivia were happy when they received their books and learning packs in the post. They enjoyed reading their books and they carried out the tasks sent home. Well done Daros and Olivia. It looks like you've been having lots of fun and working hard too. Den building is great fun, so I'm pleased the weather has been nice and you've been able to enjoy your outdoor time.
Leena has been working hard on her writing, reading, spelling and phonics. She is making super progress and is always keen to carry out her learning tasks at home. Leena enjoyed putting up decorations to celebrate VE day with her family. Well done Leena - your work is amazing. I hope you all enjoyed your VE celebrations - the decorations look fabulous. 
Chael was really happy when he received his book and his learning pack in the post. Chael enjoyed completing all the activities in his pack and loved reading his new book. Chael is enjoying reading lots of books and always enjoys going on Bug Club. He is also making super progress with his writing, phonic and spelling work too. Well done Chael, I'm really pleased you enjoyed your new book and that you completed all the tasks relating to it. Keep up this amazing work Chael. 
Elsie was really happy to receive her learning pack and loved reading her new book, 'The Wishing Star'. After reading the story, Elsie drew some pictures and wrote about some of the key events that happened. Elsie has also been working hard on telling the time. Well done Elsie - this is super work.
Leena was really happy when she saw the rainbow display at the school gates. All the rainbows look amazing and we all say an enormous thank-you to our NHS. Leena enjoys her daily exercise with her family. She is very busy with her spellings, writing and mathematics. Leena also loves to read and even finds time to help with the laundry. I love your pictures too Leena, you always add lots of detail when drawing and painting. Keep up the great work Leena.
Layla has enjoyed making rainbow patters to say a big thank-you to our amazing NHS. She has made some super rainbow hand prints. Well done Layla, what a great idea.
Leena has had another busy week doing lots of home learning activities. Leena has done some super pictures, writing and lots of reading. In her mathematics, Leena has been working hard on fractions. She especially enjoys keeping fit by doing the Joe Wicks workout. Well done Leena - it looks like you are working hard and having lots of fun.
Maisie is really trying hard with her home learning. She was really happy to receive her new book and her learning pack. Well done Maisie - keep up the good work.

Chael is working really hard at home. He has been practising his writing, reading and number skills. Chael has also been learning how to tell the time. Chael also loves to bake - the cake looks delicious. Well done Chael, keep up the good work. 
Jamie has been busy reading books on his Bug Club every day. He has also been busy practising his phonics, tricky words, number skills and his writing. Jamie has really enjoyed going for his daily walks and has been busy doing lots of jobs around the garden. Well done Jamie - it looks like you have been a great help. Keep up the good work.
Jack has enjoyed his adventure in the woods, he loved climbing the trees. Jack is enjoying lots of fun activities and is always very busy with his home learning. I love your collage picture of the woods Jack.

Sophia was really happy to receive her new book and couldn't wait to read it with her family. Sophia has been very busy in the kitchen baking lots of delicious treats. It all looks so tasty Sophia - well done for your brilliant baking and super reading.
Elsie really enjoyed going on a shape hunt. She found lots of 2D and 3D shapes. Elsie was able to name all the shapes she found. Elsie has really enjoyed reading, 'The Gingerbread Man' this week. She has drawn some super pictures  and has written her own sentences to recall different events in the story. Well done Elsie - fabulous work.
Chael has been working hard on his mathematics and literacy. Chael loves to read and is busy working his way through his books on Bug Club. He has also been busy in the kitchen with his baking. I know your baking always tastes delicious Chael. Well done - keep up the good work.
Rebecca has been very busy at home doing lots of home learning. She made a beautiful birthday cake for her cousin - it looks amazing Rebecca and I know your baking tastes delicious too. Rebecca is busy looking after her new puppies and had lots of fun on the bouncy castle. You have been very busy Rebecca. I can't wait to hear all about your new puppies.
Ryley and Evie are enjoying lots of creative activities at home and have made some amazing pictures and models. I love the rainbows you have made and all your lovely messages for the NHS. Ryley has also been practising his writing at home. Well done for trying so hard.
Leena has enjoyed doing her writing, mathematics, spelling and online reading on Bug Club. She has also been learning some key life skills, such as how to hang out the washing! Well done Leena, it's great to hear that your home learning is so varied! Leena enjoys reading the signs and labels she sees when out for her daily exercise with her family. It looks like you are having lots of fun on the rope swing. Leena has been busy planting seeds in her garden and is looking forward to watching them grow.
Chael has been working hard on his alphabet and has been trying hard to form all his letters correctly. Well done Chael.

It looks like Leena has been having another fun week with her family. I think you are getting to be a real expert in the kitchen Leena - your baking looks delicious! I think you will have to give us some lessons when we all return to school. Your hot tub looks great too.

George has been very busy with his home learning. He enjoys writing in his diary and has created some lovely chalk pictures outdoors. I love your rainbow George! Sophia has been making the most of the lovely weather. She has enjoyed picnics with her dolls, swimming in her paddling pool, outdoor painting, planting seeds and has enjoyed watching the wildlife in her garden. Sophia also enjoys her daily exercise. She has been for lovely walks, bike rides and runs. It looks like you have been having lots of fun Sophia.
Elsie has been very busy at home. She is enjoying her reading and loves to share books with her family. Elsie has also been finding out about different animals. She has drawn some amazing pictures and written down lots of interesting facts. Elsie has been doing lots of number work and enjoyed going on a number hunt. Elsie also enjoys writing the shopping list. Keep up the good work Elsie.

Leena has been very busy at home doing lots of wonderful activities. She has been doing lots of writing and spelling work. Leena has enjoyed lots of Easter crafts and has made a beautiful bonnet and a super Easter banner. Leena has also been helping in the kitchen, chopping vegetables and helping to make delicious meals.
