If we can dream it ... we can do it!

In the summer term, we will be studying a famous lady from the past called Florence Nightingale.  I challenge you to find out as much as you can about this lady.

To fulfill this challenge you can do any of the following activities:-

  • Talk to a grown up/brother/sister about what you have learnt.
  • Make an information page about her.
  • Make a model/collage/painting of Florence Nightingale.
  • Make a list using bullet points.
  • Make a book with the title Florence Nightingale.
  • Create a video acting out her story using family members as different characters.

Email me your work so I can share it with others in your class.

Week commencing 30 March

Our topic this term is dinosaurs.  We have learnt so much already including placing dinosaurs on a timeline and learning about the different time periods and the dinosaurs that lived during these time periods.  We also learnt about a very famous woman from the past - Mary Anning.

I challenge you to create your very own dinosaur like the ones we created in school but this time I want you to make it out of empty boxes.  Take a photograph of it when you have finished and ask a grown up to email it to me so that I can see it.  Remember to give it a name!
