In Year 1, we have been thinking carefully about autumn. We have been using our senses to really understand what autumn means to us.
To me, autumn means cosy nights, cold mornings and long walks through the crunchy leaves.
We have used our ideas to start to plan our own poem based on the one below.
In your books, I want you to write an autumn poem using your senses. Your sentences should follow the same pattern as the poem that we looked at in class. When you have done this, you could write your poem onto the lovely autumn paper but don't worry if you don't have a printer, you could decorate your poem in your work book. Don't forget to email your finished poems to me at email@example.com
I can't wait to read them!
