Shape and Space
There are lots of games to practice different shape skills here on the Topmarks site. Have a go
Session 1 – Can you remember the different 2D shapes?
Regular means all the same sides and angles, irregular means the angles and sides are different.
Can you identify which of the shapes are regular and which are irregular?
Session 2 – Can you remember what quadrilaterals are? They are shapes with 4 sides. Look at the powerpoint to learn the names and features of some quadrilaterals and have a go at the work sheet. Can you identify and sort the different shapes into regular and irregular shapes?

Can you remember the 3D shapes names and their features? Watch the video if you need help.

Investigate how many lines of symmetry shapes have by folding them.
Complete the worksheet and play this game to practice.
Session 5 – symmetry
Practice making symmetrical patterns on the work sheet and have a go at this activity.

The Titanic
Session 1 - Can you use your maths skills to work answer all the questions about the facts of the Titanic?
Session 2 - Can you use the information about the Titanic to draw these graphs?
Session 3- Can you use you knowledge of angles from last week to work out answers of the Titanic sinking?
Session 4- Can you use your knowledge of the four operations to work out these word problems about the Titanic?
Session 5 - Can you remember how to use money to work out these money problems to buy souvenirs for the Titanic?

Session 1 – Can you watch this video and then identify the angles?
Session 2– Can you order the angles in size? Have a go playing this game to practice finding angles.

Session 4 –Learn all about the different types of triangles here. Can you identify them?

This week, we are going to practice our arithmetic and times tables and division facts.
Times tables - Can you play at least of 5 games of TT rockstars everyday?. Have a go at the different sections - garage, soundcheck and studio. Can you go on rock slam and challenge your friends or even challenge me?
Practice a different table every day. Don't forget to practice the division facts too.

Remember: to find a fraction of 1 amount ( 1/5 ) you need to divide by the bottom number
1/5 of 55 = 55 ÷ 5 = 11
To do this with amounts more than 1 ( 3/5 for example) divide by the bottom number and multiply by the top
