During the last few weeks of school we had a challenge of walking half a mile a day which we worked out was 5 and a quarter laps around the playground. You can continue this challenge by going out for your daily exercise with your family. If someone has a fit bit in your house, see if they can calculate how far half a mile is so that you can add up your half miles over the coming weeks. I will do the same and together we will work many miles.
We also created a Be Active box with lots of 10 minute physical activities we could do at some point in the day. Maybe you could create your own Be Active box. Here are some links to some of the activities we used in class.
