Session 5 - Story

I hope you all have a lovely day. Try your best and remember to take regular learning breaks. Keep active and get lots of fresh air throughout the day. We are missing you lots and always enjoy seeing pictures of your home learning.

Do your daily reading at a time that suits you and your adult. Try and use all the correct terms about books when reading i.e. title, author, illustrator, blurb, spine, cover, page etc. Read the books on your Bug Club and also the ones that you have at home. Let me know which stories you have enjoyed reading.

Session 1 - Mathematics

  • We are learning how to use a clock to tell the time. Click on the song below to help you think about o'clock times.
  • Use a clock or a watch that you have at your house and with the help of your adult, notice different o'clock times throughout the day. Notice what time you do different activities i.e. have your breakfast, have a morning break, eat your lunch, have a bath, go to bed etc.
  • With the help of your adult use the slides below to practise telling the time.
  • Draw a picture of a clock or a watch that you have at your house. Write a time on it. What time does it say?

Lunch Time - Have a lovely lunch everyone and a well deserved learning break.
