Primary School
If we can dream it ... we can do it!Good Morning
It's Mrs Hawkridge today.
I hope that you are all well and that you had a good Christmas and New Year. It is such a shame that we are all not together in school again. We really miss you being here, it's definitely not the start to 2021 that we were hoping for, but we'll keep in touch. I'll be putting lessons online for Thursday and Friday this week so please contact me if you have any questions. Please send photographs of your work to c.hawkridge@ladywoodprimary.co.uk. It is essential that all of the lessons are completed so that your child can keep up with the year 1 curriculum.
Thursday 7th January 2020
Today's timetable
Phonics
Literacy - Big Read
Maths
Reading - a book from your book bag, Bug Club or a book from home.
Relationship and Health Education (RHE)
Story time
Remember we have playtimes - have a break and keep active. Joe Wicks is putting videos online again during this lockdown - why not have a go? We also have time in provision where children choose their learning such as reading, writing, phonics, funky fingers, maths, creative and construction. Funky fingers are activities that develop fine motor skills - cutting out with scissors is a good way to develop these skills. Maybe draw lines and then practice cutting along the lines.
Have a lovely day, I can't wait to hear from you.
