  • This about which silly sentence is your favourite. Try to use the sentence starter "My favourite silly sentence is..."
  • Draw a picture of your favourite silly sentence.

This Half Term, we are focusing on Alliteration which is where two or more words start with the same sound

  • Sing the 'Alliteration Song' below.
  • Copy the 'Letter Sounds' video and say each sound. Can you make your mouth the correct shape and say the letter correctly.

Mark Making

If you are beginning to do so please remember to practise to copy the letters in your name. For everyone else, please practising drawing anticlockwise circles and lines with pencils, crayons, chalk, sand and a stick, paint or water and paintbrushes. This helps us to develop our muscles so that we can begin to write when we are ready.

Talk Time

This week's Talk Time is all about our favourite things. Talk to your grown-up about the different icecream flavours that you have tried and what your favourite one is. Try to use the sentence starter "my favourite ice cream is..." or "I like...".

Learning Break Ideas

  • Decorate a piece of paper by drawing something on it.
  • Fold up the piece of paper and make a paper plane. You may need your grown-up to help you.
  • Either go outside and throw your plane or find a basket/box and try to get the plane in there.
