What is ECM Trust?
The Every Child Matters (ECM) Multi Academy Trust opened in October 2015 with High View,
Wombwell Park Street Primary School and Hoyland Springwood.
Since then, the Every Child Matters has grown and now has 11 primary schools across Barnsley, Ladywood Primary joined in 2024.

honesty, fairness and empathy alongside the development of best practice ensures that all children
within our schools receive a world class education. Children are at the heart of all that we do and every
child will be provided with early help and an education that removes barriers to learning and
raises aspiration, resulting in excellence and enjoyment and enabling all children to fulfil their potential.
