We explored different types of fastenings including toggles, buttons, buckles, poppers, zips

And Velcro. We thought carefully about where we might find each of them and their advantages and disadvantages.  

We made our book sleeves from our designs. We used running stitch to sew three sides of our material to make an 'envelope' deign so our books will be able to slide inside. We will use a button to fasten the top of the sleeve. Lots of us found this quite tricky but we all perservered.
