Diwali
After learning about the celebration of Diwali, we had a go at creating our own Rangoli patterns on the floor with chalk. We really enjoyed using all of the different colours.

We created our own divas using clay. Once the clay hardened we decorated our divas using paint to create colourful patterns.

We have been finding out how Diwali is celebrated. We have used non-fiction books, objects and the computer to help us find out about Diwali. We have used our own pictures and writing to record our knowledge. We have been learning lots of new vocabulary.
