Primary School
Part of Every Child Matters Academy TrustWe created our own Rangoli patterns when discussing Diwali, using different drawing tools.
We are learning how to use different tools on our 2Simple drawing program. We are learning how to change colours, the thickness of our brush and the different types of drawing tools that are available to use. We have created some super pictures to show the Chinese New Year celebrations.
We have been developing our mouse control and keyboard skills when using a drawing program to create our winter scene pictures.
We have created some super firework pictures using a drawing program on the computer. We are leaning how to use the mouse to select options, such as drawing tools, colour options and brush thickness.
We enjoy using the computer to create our own pictures. Please see below some of our autumn art work created using the computer.
We explored the computers in our classroom. We learnt that you can use computers to help use find out information we want to know. We thought about what we would like to search for and then our grownups helped us to find it out. We also explored the different computer programs we have on the computer.
During our 'Houses and Homes' topic, we used the Interactive Whiteboard to design our own houses.
