Gross Motor Skills

In Nursery, we have been developing our gross motor skills by drawing large marks. We used our crayon eggs on a large roll of paper. We used these to practise an anticlockwise and an up/down motion with our arms.

We enjoy using the pompoms to create large arm movements in the air.
We enjoy using the water and paintbrushes to make different objects outside wet. When we do this, it helps us to develop our arm muscles.
We have been using our chalk eggs outside to create large anticlockwise circles and lines.  We have been trying to recognise which hand is our dominate hand.

We have been using the ribbons to make movements in air. We have enjoyed watching them go up, down, round in a circle and making wriggly movements.
