We have been looking at how numbers and objects can be split into different parts. These parts make a whole. We have been using lots of practical methods and equipment to show this and to help us understand early addition.

Counting on and counting back

We counted back using a number track. It is really important to remember to count when you jump. You must point to the starting number before you begin to count forwards or backwards.
