SNOW and STRIKE DAYS
SNOW Day 10th March 2023
Thank you to all the parents who brought their children to school today. As a Senior Leadership Team and Governing Body we feel it is important to offer educational provision and a warm lunch whenever it is safe for us all to travel to school. We delayed our opening time today to allow the roads to clear of snow and the school site to be made safe. An early finish allows everyone to get home safely before any potential freezing temperatures at the end of the day.
STRIKE Days 15th and 16th March 2023
So far Ladywood has been unaffected by the Teachers’ Industrial Action however we will experience some disruption on Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th March. Please see the updated information below for your child(rens) class and if anyone has any queries and questions please contact us for clarification. We apologies in advance for any inconvenience the disruptions will cause individual families.
The School Newsletter has been delayed today but will be available at the beginning of next week. Have a lovely weekend everyone.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs CL Grainger-Roystone
Headteacher
Next Friday 10th February we are holding a Maths day and like our 'Times table Rockstars' we are asking children to come to school dressed as a Rockstar. We'll practice our adding, taking away and try to improve our multiplication speed. A voluntary donation of £1 is requested towards school funds, thankyou for your support.
