Each day we have the opportunity to vote for the story we would like to be read at the end of the afternoon. We know to look closely at the illustrations, the cover, the title and the name of the author and the illustrator. Once we have decided which one we prefer, we vote using our glass pebble. We are always keen to see which one has the most pebbles at the end of each day.

We have been reading the Nativity story and have been using lots of props when re-telling the story in our own words. We enjoyed performing our Nativity play to our parents.

We spoke about the significance of the Christingle and how each element has a special meaning. We enjoyed following a set of instructions on how to make our own.

We had a super day for 'Children in Need' and raised lots of money. We came to school dressed in our pyjamas and had a wonderful day of books and stories. We brought in our favourite books from home and gave reasons as to why we liked the book so much. We shared our books in class and Year 6 children came to join us and read our favourite stories to us.

We held a Pudsey Bear colouring competition. Our school council looked at all the entries and chose a winner from each class.
