We started our work on this book by guessing what things were in the feelie bag to work out where our story was set.

Then we looked at the feelings that the characters in the story might have and tried to extend our vocabulary of these words.

We practiced using speech correclty.

Then we met the tiger and wrote Cinnamon's diary to explain how we were feeling.

We wrote senses poems about the tiger

We wrote another extract of Cinnamon's diary to explain how she felt when she could finally speak.

Then we practiced using conjunctions in a range of ways.
