PE

In half term 6, we have been learning how to play rounders.

In half term 5, we are practicing our cricket skills.

In half term 4, we practiced and improved our hockey skills. we Learnt how to hold the stick correctly, practiced passing and stopping the ball and how to dribble with the ball. We also had a few little games of hockey.

In half term 3, we are practicing rolls, jumps and balances and then putting them together in sequences.

Sports Hall Athletics

 

During half term 2, we have practicing our sports hall athletics. We have been practicing our sprinting and improving our starts as well as becoming better at passing the baton and working as a team in relay races. We have been practicing our hurdles technique too. We have been practicing long jump from a running and standing start, had a go at the triple jump (hop, skip and a jump) and practicing our speed bounce. At the end of our unit, we are going to have a class competition.

For the first half term, we are practicing our football skills. we started by practicing our dribbling skills.
