We have been sorting shapes into sets. We have been talking about what is the same about the objects in the set and have explained the criteria for sorting. We have also been spotting the odd one out and have been giving reasons as to why it doesn't belong in the set.
We enjoyed going on a shape hunt to see what shapes we could find. We have been naming the shapes and discussing their properties.
We have been exploring 2D shapes. We have been naming the shapes and talking about their properties. We have used shapes to make pictures and really enjoyed going on an outdoor shape hunt.
We have been exploring 3D shapes. We enjoyed using the solid shapes to create our own models.
